An individual has expressed outrage over what he described as an unnecessary delay in the release of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
In an interview with JoyNews on Thursday May 29, 2025, he criticised the , (NPP) over their failure to fully satisfy the bail condition of GH¢50 million for Chairman Wontumi to be released.
Frustrated by what he described as incompetence, he questioned the commitment of the lawyers handling the case. "I heard from the news but they need bail documents, you couldn't bring the document; it doesn't make the sense. "Instead of getting the bail document this morning, the lawyer was just there, being questioned at the CID.
He still didn't bring the document.
