The Member of for Abetifi, Dr , has officially declared his intention to contest the flagbearership position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a statement sighted by GhanaWeb on May 29, 2025, the Abetifi lawmaker revealed that he has set up a committee to explore his presidential ambition.
He explained that the committee, which is expected to present a report within four weeks, will engage NPP faithful with his vision for the party and the country. "I have taken time to reflect deeply on our journey as a Party and on my personal journey within our political tradition.
