Vincent Ekow Assafuah, Member of Parliament for Old Tafo and a member of the legal team representing suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo, says there is no indication that she intends to resign.
His comments come in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling on Wednesday, May 28, which dismissed an injunction application seeking to halt the proceedings of a presidential committee investigating petitions for her removal from office.
The ruling has sparked fresh calls for Justice Torkornoo to voluntarily step down.
However, speaking on Eyewitness News, Assafuah said the legal team will continue to pursue all available legal avenues. "We do not have that indication from her yet.
