The Supreme Court has dismissed a preliminary objection by the Attorney General seeking to exclude Justice Scott Pwamang, Justice Adibu-Asiedu, and other committee members probing petitions for the removal of suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo from a suit filed by the embattled Chief Justice.

Justice Torkonoo, alongside her husband, is challenging the committee's proceedings through an injunction application, which the apex court is currently hearing.

The application stems from a broader suit in which she is seeking constitutional interpretation.

In the suit, Torkonoo is asking the court to permit her to waive her right to an in-camera hearing, declare the prima facie determination against her unconstitutional, and restrain the committee from proceeding further.
