Speaker of , , during proceedings of on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, gave an update on the investigation into the 'daughter of a murderer' remark against the Member of for Korle Klottey, Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings.
During his remarks on the floor, the Speaker of lambasted the Members of for failing to help identify their colleague who made the comment.
He disclosed that the investigation has identified three legislators who were sitting on the Minority side of the House as the main suspects in the investigation. "The investigations are still not concluded.
But to be frank with you, I am very disappointed with all of you, that a member seated in this House with all colleagues around, and no single colleague can pinpoint the member who uttered those words. "Even those of you sitting together, the three of you that have been identified.
