Godfred Yeboah Dame has hit back at legal practitioner Thaddeus Sory, accusing him of spreading misinformation and deliberately twisting facts in their ongoing public spat.

In a pointed rejoinder shared on his social media page, the former Attorney-General described Sory's allegations as "mischievous" and part of a pattern of politically motivated falsehoods. "Clearly, you are wrong," Dame wrote in a published response. "The allegation is mischievous and only continues a series of falsehoods often produced by lawyers of the NDC ilk to feed their foot soldiers." Dame's comments come in reaction to Sory's claim that the Attorney-General boasts about never losing a case during his time in office.

According to Dame, this narrative is not only misleading but also contradicted by his own public record.

Citing examples from two Annual Bar Conferences, Dame said he has, in fact, openly acknowledged and even highlighted cases he has lost as evidence of Ghana's robust and independent judicial system.
