The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, is expected to report back to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) headquarters at 3 p.m.
on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
This follows his initial visit to the CID, where he was questioned over allegations related to illegal mining activities.
Chairman Wontumi reported to the CID headquarters in Accra at midday on May 26, 2025, following an official invitation by the Director-General of the CID.
