Alexander Kwabena Sarfo-Kantanka, the nominee of former President for the position of Juaben Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), who was captured in a viral video demanding the return of monies allegedly paid to assembly members after his rejection, has been acquitted and discharged by the Kumasi High Court.
Providing an update on the trial, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), in a Facebook post on Monday, May 26, 2025, indicated that the acquittal followed the ruling of the presiding judge, Justice Priscilla Dikro Ofori.
