The trial of Prof.
Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, former Board Chairman of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), is set to resume on June 10, 2025, following his plea of not guilty to charges linked to a controversial $2 million transfer.
Prof.
Ameyaw-Akumfi, who was recently granted bail to the tune of GH¢10 million with two sureties, faces accusations of wilfully causing financial loss to the state, intentional dissipation of public funds, and conspiracy to commit crime.
