Supporters of the opposition (NPP) in Kumasi have strongly criticized the government over what they describe as targeted harassment of the party's Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr.
Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
The supporters allege that since the National Democratic Congress (NDC) assumed office on January 7, 2025, Mr.
Boasiako has faced a pattern of politically motivated intimidation.
