A violent clash between some youth groups at Nsawam Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region, has left two people dead and several others injured, according to the Ghana Police Service.
Police investigations reveal that the incident began with a shooting on May 20, 2025, in Adoagyiri, resulting in one death and one person injured.
This according to a police statement dated May 23, 2025, sparked a reprisal attack by approximately 300 youths, who blocked roads, burned tyres, and vandalized shops and vehicles in the area.
The reprisal led to three additional injuries, with the victims rushed to the hospital for treatment.
