Social media has been flooded with messages of gratitude and relief following news that beloved Ghanaian actor and TV host, Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, survived a serious car accident on the morning of Friday, May 23. The incident occurred near Konongo along the busy Accra-Kumasi highway - a stretch known for its high traffic volume and frequent accidents.
According to eyewitness reports, Akrobeto's vehicle collided with a heavy-duty truck under yet-to-be-determined circumstances.
Thankfully, the veteran actor was alone in the car and is reported to have escaped with no life-threatening injuries.Images and video footage from the crash site, which have since surfaced online, show the front of Akrobeto's car heavily mangled, pointing to the force of the collision.
The visibly shaken but conscious entertainer was quickly attended to by emergency responders who arrived moments after the accident.
