Four new cases of the Monkeypox virus have been confirmed, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to nine.
This was disclosed by the (GHS), which indicated that the four confirmed cases were recorded as of May 21, 2025.
The noted that it is still monitoring the situation to update the public on any new cases that may be detected.
The service, however, indicated that no deaths have been recorded, per the updates shared on May 23, 2025, via the GHS official Facebook page.
