A District Court in Mamponteng has granted bail to a 16-year-old student of Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (OKESS), who is at the center of a police investigation for the unlawful possession of a firearm.
Presided over by Natacha Abena Tuffour, the court set the student's bail at GH¢50,000 with two sureties.
At least one surety must be a government worker or a senior staff member earning a monthly salary of not less than GH¢4,000.
His stepfather, Daniel Owusu Baafi, who is also facing charges in connection with the incident, was granted bail in the sum of GH¢30,000, also with two sureties.
