A Presidential Staffer, Nana Yaa Jantuah, has cast doubt on both the motive and timing of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo's attempt to halt proceedings against her through a Supreme Court injunction.

Speaking on Channel One TV's Breakfast Daily on Thursday, May 22, she questioned why the Chief Justice, after willingly engaging with the committee investigating her conduct, would now seek to challenge its composition. "She was aware that the committee was in place, so why didn't she start with the injunction?

Now she is putting in an injunction.

This committee was put in place, and she was aware, yet she didn't say anything about it.
