Renowned Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Asare Brako, popularly known as Abatey, has made a profound spiritual declaration following what he describes as a miraculous recovery from a life-threatening stroke.
According to him, he now considers himself a vessel and representative of the second coming of Jesus Christ, dedicating the rest of his life to preaching the goodness of God and encouraging people to repent.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Peace FM, the veteran journalist gave a moving account of how he vanished from the media space for 3 and a half years due to a severe stroke that left him totally incapacitated."There could be a wheelchair by me and I couldn't even lift myself into it.
I had to be carried and placed in it," he painfully recalled. "I have really suffered.
