The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) is inviting innovative proposals from event planners, promoters, and cultural curators for this year's December in GH-the country's biggest celebration of culture, heritage, and entertainment. Set to run from December 1, 2025, to January 3, 2026, the month-long campaign blends music, art, fashion, nightlife, and cultural showcases into a vibrant calendar that attracts thousands of locals, returning diasporans, and global visitors.
This year's edition is being shaped under the broader theme of the Black Star Experience, Ghana's leading tourism drive aimed at spotlighting the country as a global hub for cultural reconnection and heritage tourism. "December in GH is more than a festive celebration; it is a movement that showcases Ghana's vibrant spirit to the world.
As we embrace the Black Star Experience, we are setting the stage for our biggest December season yet, and we look forward to innovative events that will elevate Ghana's place as a leading destination for culture, entertainment, and heritage tourism," CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Maame Efua Houadjeto said.
The GTA called on stakeholders to submit event proposals that can contribute to a diverse and high-impact schedule of activities across Ghana.
