The body of an unidentified man believed to be in his mid-50s was retrieved from a storm drain near Transition at Agbogba in the Ga East Municipality on Monday, following heavy rains that lashed Accra on Sunday.
The three-hour downpour caused severe flooding across multiple parts of the capital, resulting in four confirmed deaths.
According to Mr.
Dennis Mensah, Assemblyman for the Agbogba Electoral Area, the deceased was swept away by the floods while riding a bicycle during the rain.
