Businessman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the defunct Menzgold Ghana Limited, , has stated that he will exhaust all legal avenues, including petitioning the apex court, to pursue his application for a stay of proceedings in his criminal trial.
He made this known after the Court of Appeal, on Monday, May 19, 2025, dismissed his application filed pending the determination of an appeal challenging a High Court ruling that ordered him to open his defence.
Speaking to the press at the court premises in a video shared by GHOne TV on Facebook, , popularly known as NAM 1, who sounded confident and unperturbed by the Court of Appeal's decision stated that he would consult with his lawyers on the next course of action to be taken in his case. "It doesn't end here.
We still have the Supreme Court, so we will just exercise all our rights enshrined under the Constitution of this beautiful republic and so, I'll confer with my lawyers and then whatever as they so advice, I will proceed," he said.
