Renowned Ghanaian entertainment pundit and artiste manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, has stressed the importance of mental health awareness, especially within the creative industry, following the passing of Highlife legend Dada KD.   Speaking on UTV's United Showbiz over the weekend, Bullgod recounted his final phone conversation with Dada KD on the morning of Friday, May 16 - the same day the musician sadly passed away.

According to him, their conversation was centered around an upcoming show in the UK that Dada KD was scheduled to perform at.

Although Dada KD eventually mentioned he wasn't feeling well, nothing indicated it would be his last day. While reflecting on their relationship, Bullgod noted that beyond that last call, Dada KD was someone who, over time, seemed emotionally burdened. "It's true," he said. "Sometimes when you meet him and have deep conversations, you could sense he wasn't okay.

He looked troubled - like someone battling things inside." He explained that Dada KD was deeply passionate about the industry and was always thinking about how to elevate Ghanaian music, especially championing musicians from Kumasi.
