The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed two additional cases of Mpox in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to four as of Saturday, May 18, 2025.
According to a press release signed by the Acting Director General of the GHS, Prof.
Samuel Kaba Akoriyea, the new cases were detected in the Greater Accra and Western Regions, following earlier confirmations on May 15, 2025.
Preliminary investigations show no epidemiological links between the new cases and the previously reported ones.
