Police at the Kasoa Ofaakor Jei River station in the Central Region have arrested two individuals suspected of stealing iron rods intended for the ongoing construction of a health facility under the government's Agenda 111 project.

The suspects, who are part of a three-man group, were intercepted while transporting the materials on a tricycle.

Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle was half-loaded with iron rods when authorities moved in.

Further investigations confirmed that the construction materials were stolen from the Agenda 111 project site at Jei River, Kasoa.
