Walewale Member of Parliament, Tia Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, has raised serious concerns about the government's procurement practices in the energy sector, accusing Energy Minister, John Jinapor of bypassing proper procedures to award contracts without adequate oversight.
His remarks come in response to the ministry's call for urgent funding to address critical fuel shortages.
While the sector's financial difficulties have become increasingly urgent, Kabiru questioned the methods used by Jinapor to address these challenges.
