The Ghana Police Service (GPS), working in collaboration with their Togolese counterparts, has successfully apprehended notorious armed robbery suspect, Adina Akpo Abdou Moudjibou, also known as Mohammed Djandjo.

The arrest followed the issuance of an INTERPOL red notice and culminated in the suspect being extradited to Ghana.

Moudjibou was wanted for a string of high-profile armed robberies that occurred between 2022 and 2024 in upscale Accra neighbourhoods including East Legon and Cantonments.

He was arrested by Togolese authorities on January 30, 2025, and officially handed over to Ghanaian authorities on May 12, 2025, in accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation in Criminal Matters among West African Police Services, signed in Accra in December 2003.
