The ongoing theft case involving former sanitation minister took a dramatic turn on Friday, May 16, 2025, at an Accra Circuit Court, where the lawyer for the second accused, Sarah Agyei, rigorously questioned Dapaah's claims about missing jewellery allegedly stolen from her Abelemkpe residence.

The cross-examination, conducted by Augustine Gyamfi, focused on the lack of evidence to substantiate the existence and purchase of the jewellery, which Dapaah claims was part of the items stolen by her former house helps.

The case stems from allegations that Agyei, along with Patience Botwe and six others, stole significant sums of money, including $1 million, €300,000, and millions of Ghanaian cedis, as well as valuable items like jewellery, between July and October 2022.

During the court session presided over by Justice Marie Louise Simmons, Augustine Gyamfi challenged 's witness statement, which detailed the jewellery as part of a collection amassed over 30 years.
