(NPP) stalwart has called out the United States (US) government over its proposed 5% tax on the transfer of remittances by foreign nationals living in the US.

First, it was USAID, and now what you send to your families back in Africa is also under attack," he wrote on X on May 15, 2025.
The NPP stalwart said that what is happening now should serve as a lesson to African countries, including Ghana.
