Eight sanitation offenders have been arrested and prosecuted in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region for dumping refuse in the Central Business District of Kasoa.
The culprits were arrested by an ad-hoc task force established by the Assembly to patrol and arrest sanitation offenders.
They were arrested while in the act of dumping refuse within the Central Business District of Kasoa.
All culprits have been arraigned before the court, with some of them having their cases concluded and fines imposed against them.
