Correspondence from the Ashanti Region Sadiq Abubakar has been unanimously confirmed as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Old Tafo Municipality, securing 100% endorsement from all 24 assembly members.
Speaking after the confirmation, Abubakar expressed his gratitude and outlined his vision for the municipality. "I thank Almighty God for ensuring this successful confirmation.
After which, I also thank His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the confidence reposed in me and nominating me as the Municipal Chief Executive," he stated.
Addressing a gathering of people following his massive endorsement, Abubakar pledged his unwavering commitment to progress. "I want to tell the electorate and the indigenes of the municipality that they should look forward to development, unity, and peace, so that we all move forward as a people for the betterment of the municipality as well as the Ashanti region and Ghana," he added.
