The Minority in Parliament has formally petitioned the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to investigate allegations that Sammy Gyamfi, the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Goldbod, presented a dollar-denominated gift to Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, popularly known as Nana Agradaa. The petition, submitted on May 14, 2025, calls for a thorough examination into the circumstances surrounding the alleged gift, which the Minority contends may constitute a breach of public trust and potential abuse of office.
According to the Minority, the alleged transaction raises serious ethical and legal concerns, particularly given Mr Gyamfi's dual role as a senior NDC official and his recent appointment as acting Managing Director of the Goldbod.
