The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has moved to calm public concerns over foreign exchange access, insisting there have been no changes to existing withdrawal guidelines.
Ernest Nii Sowah Ahulu, Acting Head of the Financial Market Department at the BoG, made the assurance during an interview with Bernard Avle on Channel One TV on Thursday, May 15.
His comments comes on the heels of the Central Bank's statement that reaffirmed that over-the-counter (OTC) cash withdrawals from Foreign Exchange Accounts (FEA) and Foreign Currency Accounts (FCA) remain fully permitted.
