A trader who allegedly thrust his walking stick into a carpenter's left eye has appeared before an Accra Circuit Court.
Adam Zakaria, 42, is said to have paid GH₵200 to the carpenter, Eric Djan, to fix a leaking roof, but Djan allegedly failed to complete the work.
Zakaria, who has been charged with causing harm, pleaded not guilty.
Presiding Judge Isaac Addo granted him GH₵50,000 bail with two sureties and ordered the prosecution to comply with disclosure requirements.
