The Ghana Gold Board, in collaboration with National Security, has arrested three Indian nationals for illegally engaging in gold trading, raising the number of foreign nationals arrested in the crackdown to six.
The suspects were picked up in Anyinam in the Eastern Region, according to police.
Recovered items from the operation included gold bars, large sums of cash, and money-counting machines.
This latest arrest comes on the heels of a similar operation on April 29, 2025, which led to the arrest of three other Indian nationals.
