The Acting Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, has dismissed demands for the suspension of Sammy Gyamfi, the Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board, over a controversial dollar gift incident.

The controversy was triggered by a viral video showing Gyamfi handing bundles of U.S.

dollars to former fetish priest-turned-evangelist, Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa.

The gesture has drawn sharp criticism from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), political analysts, and anti-corruption advocates, who have called for his immediate suspension.
