The (NPP) has called for the immediate interdiction of the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), , following his public gifting of US dollars to evangelist Nana Agradaa.
The incident, captured in widely circulated videos on May 10, 2025, showed Gyamfi handing over cash in dollar denominations to the former fetish priestess while seated in his Range Rover.
During a news conference on Tuesday, May, 13, 2025, NPP National Organiser Henry Nana Boakye urged President John Mahama to suspend Gyamfi pending investigations by state criminal authorities. "We also call on the President to immediately interdict Mr as acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board - or at least, he should interdict him pending the conduct of the investigation by the criminal investigation authorities of the state," Henry Boakye said.
He stressed the need for accountability, referencing the case of former Sanitation Minister Cecilia Dapaah, who resigned after reports of stolen money from her residence.
