A Deputy Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, in a rare show of support, has jumped to the defence of the embattled Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi.
Gyamfi, at a public event on Saturday, May 10, 2025, was seen doling out several notes of U.S.
dollars to the controversial former priestess-turned-pastor, Evangelist Mama Patricia, popularly known as Agradaa.
A section of the public has criticized the gesture, questioning its appropriateness in light of the current economic difficulties.
