In the face of public criticism over a cash gift from Sammy Gyamfi to evangelist Agradaa, Ernest Kofi Owusu Bempah, Deputy National Communications Director of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has come out strongly in defense of the embattled Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board.

Speaking during an interview on NET2 TV, a pro-NPP media outlet, Owusu Bempah dismissed the outrage surrounding Gyamfi's alleged $10,000 gift as both misplaced and hypocritical. "We know people in the NPP who spray $50,000 on ladies behind the scenes.

He who comes with equity must come with clean hands.

The noise about Sammy Gyamfi's gift is dead on arrival.
