Dr Kabiru Tia-Mahama, Member of Parliament for Walewale and a member of Parliament's Finance Committee, says suspension is "the least" punishment former President John Mahama can hand out to the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi.

He made these remarks during an interview on JoyNews' The Pulse on Monday, 12 May, while discussing the controversy surrounding a viral video involving Mr Gyamfi.

In recent days, Sammy Gyamfi has faced intense public scrutiny after a viral video surfaced showing him handing out dollar notes to controversial fetish priestess turned preacher, Nana Agradaa.

The footage has sparked criticism both within and outside the National Democratic Congress (NDC), with some party members demanding disciplinary action against him.
