The Minority Caucus in Ghana's Parliament is demanding swift and decisive action from President John Dramani Mahama against the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi.

This follows the emergence of a video showing Gyamfi handing out several dollar notes to popular self-styled evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa.

The footage, which has gone viral on social media, has sparked public outrage and raised questions about the conduct of government officials in the management of public resources.

Sammy Gyamfi has since issued an apology for his actions, but critics say the gesture is not enough.
