The embattled Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, , has reportedly met with the Chief of Staff, , following a summons over viral videos of him () handing out dollars to Patricia Oduro Koranteng, popularly known as Nana Agradaa - a former fetish priestess turned evangelist.
According to TV3's presidential correspondent, Komla Klutse, , who is also the National Communication Officer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), reported to the office of the Chief of Staff in the morning and was in a meeting that lasted until 11:00 AM.
The journalist indicated that the government has taken the issue "very, very seriously." He said that a source with details of the meeting indicated that was very apologetic over the incident.
He added that the government will, in the coming days, take a decision on how the issue is going to be handled. "In the meeting with the Chief of Staff, he () was very remorseful and was in a pensive mood.
