Gospel musician Sonnie Badu has publicly called on President John Dramani Mahama and First Lady to show compassion toward Sammy Gyamfi, Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company, after a video surfaced showing him giving money to self-styled evangelist Nana Agradaa.
The video, which has gone viral, captures Agradaa requesting money from Gyamfi, who is seen counting dollar bills before handing them over-sparking criticism, especially from NDC supporters.

He explained that Gyamfi may have been invited to the church and discreetly chose to bless them financially from his car, a practice he says is not unusual among politicians.
However, he acknowledged that the choice of Agradaa's church was politically sensitive, given her past comments about Mahama.Recognizing the public backlash, Badu urged the party's grassroots supporters to be forgiving. "Indeed, in a season such as this, it does not look good," he admitted. "But please, show him mercy and give him a second chance." part of his post reads.
