A former Deputy General Secretary of the (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has blamed the woes of the NPP on dishonesty.
Addressing issues surrounding the internal wranglings in the party on Okay FM, on May 12, 2025, he attributed the ongoing matters to the disregard for constructive criticisms and dishonesty.
He stressed that the lack of appreciation of dissenting views from members of the party is not limited to only the NPP but other political parties as well. "Honesty has eluded African leaders and this goes for all political parties - the NDC, the CPP and others.
The lack of honesty by leadership in handling processes in the party has left many supporters disgruntled.
