After months of relative calm, Ghana's cedi has unexpectedly rallied.
From February to April 2025, it held steady at around GHS15.50 to the US dollar.
But in the first weeks of May 2025, it surged to GHS13.1, its strongest level in a year.
The question is whether this is the start of a sustained recovery or just another brief reprieve.
