A former Minister of Education, Dr , has attributed the 's (NPP) inability to effectively communicate its accomplishments to the Ghanaian populace as a major factor in its recent electoral defeat.

Speaking to possible reasons behind the NPP's loss in the 2024 Elections on UTV, on May 8, 2025, Dr Adutwum cited ineffective communication a factor to the party's debacle.

He noted that despite undertaking numerous impactful projects, particularly in remote areas, the party failed to adequately publicise these initiatives. "The NPP embarked on very impactful projects - most of which were in remote areas.

However, because the party was unable to properly highlight these achievements due to ineffective communication, they lost the goodwill of Ghanaians," he explained.
