Five individuals, including a pregnant woman, have been remanded in police custody by the Asokwa Circuit Court, in connection with the robbery and murder of two Mobile Money vendors in the Ashanti Region's Krofrom and Kwadaso areas. Investigators believe she befriended the victims and provided the gang with crucial information about their movements and business operations, which facilitated the targeted attacks," a adomonline.com report stated.
The robberies, it added, which occurred at different locations, resulted in the tragic deaths of the vendors and the theft of significant sums of money.
During the court proceedings on Wednesday, the pregnant woman requested bail on health grounds due to her condition, the report said.
