Inspector General of Police, Dr.
Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has urged the Electoral Commission (EC) to immediately provide the National Election Security Taskforce with a formal roadmap to conclude the long-pending collation of parliamentary results in the Ablekuma North Constituency.
Addressing the press on Monday, Dr.
Yohuno expressed concern over the delay, cautioning that the lingering uncertainty around the collation process threatens more than just the outcome of a single constituency. "The EC must provide the National Election Security Taskforce with a roadmap for the formalisation of the collation," he stated, underscoring the need for swift action to preserve public trust in Ghana's democratic institutions.
