Inspector General of Police, Dr Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has called on the Electoral Commission (EC) to swiftly outline a clear roadmap to complete the long-delayed collation of parliamentary election results in the Ablekuma North Constituency.
Ablekuma North remains the only constituency in Ghana without a Member of Parliament following unresolved disputes from the 2024 parliamentary elections.
Months after the elections, the EC is yet to finalise the outcome, leaving the area without parliamentary representation.
Dr Yohuno warned that the continued delay threatens public confidence in the country's democratic institutions.
