King Paluta is making a strong case for himself as a contender for the 26th TGMA Artist of the Year award, standing firm against the heavy competition, which includes Stonebwoy, King Promise, Black Sherif, Kweku Smoke, Joe Mettle and Team Eternity.
Despite not running an extensive PR campaign, Paluta believes his body of work speaks for itself and gives him a genuine shot at winning.

Slim criticized artists who show little interest in the Ghana Music Awards, saying, "I will be disappointed in Ghana Music Awards if they give the Artist of the Year award to anybody apart from Stonebwoy or King Promise." He added, "You can't show less interest in the scheme and expect to be awarded.
