President John Dramani Mahama's first 120 days in office have drawn praise from members of his administration, with his Vice President's spokesperson, Maame Ama Pratt, describing his performance as beyond expectation.
Speaking on GH One TV, Maame Ama Pratt stated, "I mean, to be honest, I would say that he's even exceeded, you know, expectation and it's not me, it's not my words, it's just everything." She pointed to the President's swift action in appointing key figures into his administration as an early indication of his seriousness. "So, let's start from, you know, even the appointments.
You know, he gave a promise that within two weeks he was going to ensure that he had sort of listed his appointees." Today, May 7, 2025, marks exactly 120 days since Mahama assumed office once again after staging a remarkable comeback following an eight-year hiatus from the presidency.
During the campaign, he pledged to implement specific interventions within this early window, setting a performance benchmark by which many now judge his return.
