Renowned economist and governance expert, Professor Stephen Adei, has offered a measured but commendatory assessment of President John Dramani Mahama's performance in his first 120 days, noting his impressive start.
However, he also cautioned against excessive praise, drawing attention to the pitfalls of over-celebrating early achievements. "We must be very careful over praising John in 120 days," Prof.
Adei remarked, suggesting that the enthusiasm for Mahama's initial performance should be tempered. "Because in the first term of Akufo-Addo, I think that he performed very well and then everybody's hopes were dashed… and I think that Akufo-Addo's government in the second term did so badly," he added, underscoring the importance of sustained performance in governance.
Despite his caution, Prof.
