Transport Minister, Joseph Bukari Nikpe has inaugurated a 10-member task force to spearhead the development of a business model and operational framework for Ghana's new national airline.
The move is part of efforts to revamp the country's aviation sector and position Ghana as a leading air transport hub in West Africa.
The task force is chaired by Charles Asare, former Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited.
At the inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the minister reaffirmed government's commitment to establishing a viable, efficient, and sustainable national carrier to enhance regional connectivity and economic growth. "We have facilities at our national airport and other airlines are taking advantage of it.
